Power of the Pen

Power of the Pen is a competitive creative writing team that gives Groveport Madison students the chance to unleash their imagination, refine their writing skills, and share their unique voices. Through fast-paced, timed writing competitions, students craft original stories based on surprise prompts—learning to think quickly, write clearly, and express ideas with power and purpose.

Power of the Pen challenges students to grow as storytellers while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills that benefit them far beyond the page. Writers compete against peers from other schools in district, regional, and state tournaments—earning recognition for originality, style, and storytelling.
